Zoie was born on March 16, 2022, and from the very beginning, her journey has been one of strength, faith, and so many unexpected blessings. Zoie was born with a rare chromosomal condition involving chromosomes 12 and 17 that affects her development and growth. Her diagnosis has brought challenges, but it has never defined the beautiful little girl she is. Zoie has taught us that milestones don’t always happen the way we expect them to, but that doesn’t make them any less special. Every accomplishment, every new skill, every smile, and every bit of progress is something we celebrate. After years of advocating for Zoie and waiting for the right opportunity for her, we were blessed to become part of Harbor Day School—a tuition-free, Christ-centered school dedicated to helping children with special needs reach their God-given potential. Watching Zoie grow in an environment where she is understood, supported, loved, and celebrated has been such a blessing to our family.
